As we all know, too much trash is a big problem for our environment. A woman in Indonesia’s Java Island has come up with a great idea —lending books to children in exchange (交换) for trash.
Raden Roro Hendarti, nearly 50 years old, is a librarian in Muntang Village. She started a “trash library”, hoping to make children read more as well as make them realize the importance of environmental protection. Each weekday, Raden puts all kinds of books on the back of her three-wheeler.(三轮车) and rides to Muntang Village. There, children line up to exchange plastic cups, bags and other trash for books from Raden’s mobile library. After finishing the exchange, Raden carries back all the trash.
In the library where Raden works, there are thousands of books. Every time she shows up, children run to her “trash library”. They all take trash bags, and Raden’s three-wheeler quickly fills with trash as the books fly out. Each week Raden collects about 100kg of trash, sorts it out and then sends it for recycling or sale. She is happy that children spend less time on online games because of the books.

“I wish I had long hair”; “I'd like to be taller”. Sometimes, we all want to look a bit more like someone else. However, the pictures we see on TV and social media may give us improper ideas about how our bodies “should” look. The truth is that everybody is different — and that's a good thing. Accepting and feeling good about our bodies is really important for our self-confidence.
Body confidence is when someone accepts his body. That includes his size, shape, skin color, looks or any physical disabilities. Jade Parnell from the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR), says that having body confidence is “about being accepting your body and what it does for you”.
If you feel good about your body, you are more likely to take care of it. A study has even shown that you are more likely to take part in activities and perform well in school. However, feeling agitated about your body could make you step back, do less well at school and even feel down. Parnell says that the cost of trying to achieve the “perfect” looks is high. She says, “If you're spending a lot of time trying to look a certain way, you will have less time to spend with friends and to make important memories.”
It's important to remember that everybody is different. To develop a good body image, Parnell says, “Try to talk about your own body and other people's bodies in a good way. Try not to pay too much attention to looks. Instead, think about what your body does for you; do your legs make you run really fast ” She also suggests treating your body well by eating different kinds of foods, exercising to feel good and to have fun, and getting plenty of sleep. Remember that you are more than how you look.
The writer thinks that the pictures on TV and social media .
A. are perfect for people to follow

C. may show wrong ideas of looks
D. show people’s looks aren’t important

59. Which of the following sentences best shows body confidence
A. I want to become taller.
B. It’s OK to be a little heavy.
C. I’m not as pretty as that girl.
D. My friends dislike my small eyes.
60. According to the text, the writer wants to tell readers .
A. to do more exercise
B. not to eat too much food
C. to build up body confidence
D. not to spend much time with their friends

Have you ever felt someone was watching you Some new technologies may make you feel that way. Some digital billboards (电子广告牌) are able to tell human features. That is to say, when cameras point at the people on the street, they can know people’s age, gender (性别) etc. Then a computer inside the billboard uses this information to make advertisements (广告) for the people who are looking at the billboard. For example, if a man passes a billboard showing an advertisement about women clothes, the computer can change the advertisement to something such as men’s sports shoes to catch the man’s attention.
Although companies think of this as a great chance to reach their customers, some people feel that this is an invasion of their privacy (侵犯隐私). However, companies say that the billboards will not be able to recognize their faces or get any personal information about them.
In fact, this kind of “personal” advertisements has already appeared on the Internet. Websites like Google and Bing can follow what we search for. When we have searched for some products or services, companies pay these websites for the information and then use it in advertisements. So if you search for information about travel, you may see advertisements for air tickets or hotels. This kind of advertising has worked better than the traditional one.
In today’s world, people see thousands of advertisements every day, but they don’t take much notice. The new technology has changed people’s experience of seeing an advertisement. So pay attention the next time you see a billboard—it would be talking to you.
61. In Paragraph 1, the writer shows how the computer inside the billboard works by
.
A. listing numbers B. giving an example
C. showing a contrast D. giving reasons
62. When a little girl walks past the billboard, she may see on the billboard.
A. B. C. D.
What can we learn from Paragraph 2
Customers should come first.
There is a fight between companies and customers.
C. Some people are worried about the safety of their privacy.

A. product B. service C. information D. technology

Control your anger.
When you and your classmate have different opinions, you two might get angry easily and end up shouting at each other. 67 Anger is a natural feeling, but it is also something that you must control. If you want to solve the disagreements well, the first thing you should do is to treat your classmates as politely as possible.
Listen to others.
68 Before you disagree, make sure you have listened carefully to your classmate and have completely understood what he or she is saying. Then express your opinion clearly in a proper way. This can help make a good two-way communication.
Be more understanding.
It’s easier said than done. But as time goes by, it will surely become easier. Being understanding means being kind and able to put yourself in your classmate’s shoes. No matter where you go and who you meet, just be understanding. 69
70
When your classmate in trouble turns to you, try your best to give him or her a hand. It’s a nice thing to do. You’ll make his or her day and in return it will enhance (增进) your relationship. So it’s a win-win situation.
