Thousands of years ago, there lived a king. His people loved him, since he looked after their needs well. He would often invite some smart people to look at his work and give him advice.
The king built many things. As he grew old, the king thought, “I will build a perfect palace to remember my whole life. It will be the best one not only in my kingdom(五国), but also in neighboring states.”

Once, there was a farmer who worked in his fields(田)all year round. He worked at sunrise and rested at sunset.

One cold winter day, Meng Tsung’s mother got really sick. He sat by her bed and took care of her day and night. However, nothing helped, and she got worse.

Once upon a time, there lived a wise man. His son, however, was very lazy.
The man was worried about his son’s future. And he recognized the need to give something to his son so that he could take care of himself.
One day, the man said to his son, “I want you to find the real purpose of your life.” Then he handed his son a map and asked him to find the treasure.
The son set out the next day. Along the way, he met a lot of people. Some helped him with food, and some with shelter (住所). Finally, after a long year, he reached the place. But he found nothing.
