参考范文:
Good afternoon, everyone!
I’m Li Hua a senior one student from Hongxing High School. Nowadays, there is a growing focus
on health care. People are pursuing a healthy lifestyle. A healthy diet is one of the most important parts
of it.
As the saying goes, bread is the staff of life. Eating healthily and deliciously is the goal we pursue.
From my point of view, in order to build healthy eating habits, we should eat more vegetables, which
are rich in vitamins. Among them, vitamin C and vitamin A are the most important. Too much fat and
sugar can lead to obesity, which is harmful to health. Besides, eating more fruits and drinking more
water is of great help.
I hope we can live in a healthy life. Let’s take action.
That’s all. Thanks for your listening.

Paragraph 1:
Then the old woman introduced herself, "My name is Betty. I'm originally from Poland, but left
there when I was thirteen. And I have been living here in Washington, D.C. in America ever since."
Eliza could not believe it, stories of her grandmother's best friend floating in her mind. She assumed
that the old woman must be her grandmother's best friend. She said, "Betty, would you mind coming
with me right now I need to show you somebody."
Paragraph 2:
The old woman agreed. Soon they left the restaurant after dinner. Arriving at Scout's home, the old
woman eagerly rang the door bell. The moment Scout opened the door, she was amazed to see her
childhood friend standing in front of her. How magical! The scarf indeed brought them good luck.
Excited and moved, both of them were in tears. They hadn't seen each other for many years and had
many things to share.

waited several hours.
M: They might have forgotten about it.
W: Maybe. Hand me the phone, will you
Text 2
W: Now, Greg, red means stop, and green means go. What does that yellow light mean
M: Speed up!
W: No, no! It means you should slow down, or else you might have an accident!
Text 3
W: The ticket of the theme park normally costs 10 dollars, but today students can enter for half price.
M: Great. Here is my student card. Oh, I’m sorry. I only have 3 dollars in cash now. Can I pay with my
credit card
W: Of course.
Text 4
W: Ernie, you can’t be serious. Are you really moving back to Germany I thought you loved living
here in South Africa.
M: I do, Jane. But I won’t go back to my country. I will work in Italy for our new branch next month.
Text 5
W:We need to know what you saw. Did the fire begin during the morning or the night
M: I didn’t see any fire in the morning, but I did see smoke rising during the afternoon. I thought it
was just someone heating the house.
Text 6
W: Did you watch the news on TV that the Chinese robot landed on the dark side of the moon It’s
named Chang’e-4.
M: Yes. I just read in the newspaper that the scientists found that it was driving on 40 feet of moon
dust.
W: Yes. I am so surprised about the discovery. It is amazing that there could be so much moon dust
there.
M: I am not surprised, but I am interested. Beneath the levels of dust, there is probably so much
information on chemicals that make up our universe.
W: I agree. I hope they can bring back some good samples.

M: Construction of the bridge between our two countries was finally finished in November, 2019. I
remember when the work started in December, 2016. Only 3 years! I bet this is going to be very good

W: How many people live in your house now, John
M: My family was given this house from my grandparents after they died. My father, my mother, my
sister and I live there now. My sister will be moving out to go to University of California next year,
though.
W: That’s a big family. Will you be going to university as well
M: I hope so. Next year, I’ll begin applying to different schools. The school I want to go to is the
University of Alabama, but I know it will be cheaper if I choose a school here in Florida.
W: Those are both good choices. Do you know what you want to study
M: I’m doing very well in math and biology. My father wants me to become a doctor, but I think I’ll be
happier if I’m taking chemistry classes.
Text 9
W: That was a long phone call! What’s wrong with your sister
M: She just lost her job.
W: Oh, poor Stephanie! That’s the third job she’s gone through in a year. Did this company combine
with a bigger company, like the last one Or did she make a mistake
M: Neither.
W: So, what is the reason now
M: They’re replacing her job with a robot.
W: Wow! In the financial field I thought that kind of thing only happened at supermarkets.
M: It’s becoming more widespread. Even my job as a car repairman isn’t secure anymore. Fortunately,
I own my business so that I can support our kids.
W: Yes, that’s a relief. I suppose my job is still going to be necessary many years from now.
M: I don’t know about that. Some teachers will still be needed, I’m sure. But online schools are starting
to catch on. Maybe you should switch to something else, like business management.
W: I’m too old for that. Hopefully, I’ll be retired before that day comes.
Text 10
In 1933, an unknown American called Clarence Nash went to see the filmmaker Walt Disney. He had
an unusual voice and he wanted to work in Disney’s cartoon films for children. When Walt Disney
heard Clarence’s voice, he said Clarence was the perfect duck. The duck was the now famous Donald
Duck, who first appeared in 1934 in the film The Wise Little Hen. Donald Duck lived in an old
houseboat and wore his sailor jacket and hat. Later that year he became a star after an 8-minute Mickey
Mouse film. The audience found him very funny because he would lose his temper very quickly and he
became angry easily with Mickey’s 8 nephews. Soon Donald Duck was more popular than Mickey
Mouse himself. In the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s Donald Duck and his friends Mickey, Goofy and Pluto
appeared in hundreds of Disney cartoons. Then in 1966 Donald Duck and his voice disappeared —
there were no more new cartoons. Clarence Nash passed away in February, 1985. But his voice is still
heard by children today through cartoons on TV.

With a planned area of 11.5 square kilometers, Xixi National Wetland Park in Hangzhou, Zhejiang
province is China's first national Wetland Park. Xixi is regarded as the "green lung of the city" for its rich ecological resources and wonderful natural scenery.
Hangzhou launched the Xixi wetland water environment management project in April. The waste
water systems and sluice-pumping stations in the wetland will be more automatically(自动地)controlled as the project progresses and the overall water quality will also be improved, said Liu Xiang, deputy director of the ecological culture research center at the wetland park.
In addition to water quality improvement, Xixi has introduced more than 200 species of native and

The latest data shows that Xixi is home to four kinds of national first-class protected animals, including oriental stocks, which are known as "national treasure bird". It also has three plant species under national first-class protection and six plant species under national second-class protection.
Fishing, picking and folk activities have gained great popularity among tourists in Xixi. Farmers from

With a relatively small population, pandas are unable to survive in the bamboo forest. Habitat loss is
the main reason why the number of wild panda is falling. And while around 54% of its wild habitat is protected, these areas are still likely to be destroyed by natural disasters, such as wildfires. To protect panda habitat, the Digital Panda System, co- developed by the Sichuan government and Chinese technology giant Huawei, was used effectively across forest and grasslands in Sichuan Province.
六校联考(三)英语第4页,共8页
The unique reporting system helps to detect wildfires in hard-to-reach areas, informing fire departments, as well as monitoring wildlife. Meanwhile, another smart technology, facial recognition, could help identify individual pandas more accurately. To the human eye, their fur-covered faces all look the same, but this system can use specific methods to distinguish the differences.
The system collects data from 596 cameras and satellites. Researchers can use this data to track and
study wildlife, as well as detect wildfire location. Because the cameras are used in remote areas where there is little or no electricity, the system is solar powered, which means it doesn’t require cables (电缆). The system assists 140,000 forest keepers and researchers in Sichuan. In its first five months of operations, it discovered 651 wildfire locations, reducing forest fires by 71.6% compared to the same period the previous year.
Despite its name, the Digital Panda System offers protection to more than just pandas. The system
covers a newly established Giant Panda National Park in Sichuan. The park is home to most of China’s
1800 wild pandas — along with over 8000 animals and plant species. In the future, the digital panda system could be applied nationwide, creating more success stories for other endangered species.
32. Why was the Digital Panda System developed
To monitor the health of giant pandas.
To record the population of wild animals.
To predict natural disasters in Sichuan Province.
To protect endangered species from habitat loss.
33. What does paragraph 2 mainly tell us about the reporting system
A. Its main functions. B. Its unique design.
C. Methods of using it. D. Inspiration for creating it.
34. What do we know about the system from paragraph 3
It has been applied successfully nationwide.
It requires a lot of electricity to operate.
It works effectively in reducing forest fires.
It mainly depends on satellites to collect data.
35. What is the main idea of the passage
Human activities cause pandas to lose their home.
Smart technology is helping to save endangered animals.
Huawei has taken the lead in facial recognition technology.
The digital panda system has protected many species’ habitat.

The Most Important Day of Your Life
What’s the most important day of your life The answer to that question is simple — Today.
36 You can't do anything about things that have already happened, and trying to live in the future
will take your focus away from the present. So the helpful strategy for anyone is to make the most of the moment that is right in front of us.
六校联考(三)英语第5页,共8页
Doing our best today may make things easier for us later on, or at least help us to deal with whatever
situation we are in. 37 We will still be dealing with the same challenges tomorrow.
Each morning I ask myself what I can do to make today memorable. 38 In Hebrew school we
were asked what we had done to help other people the previous week. Did we help an older person cross
the street Did we encourage someone who had a promising idea 39 All of these things represent a
worthy deed because they involve doing something to help someone else.
Even if today is not that meaningful for you, something you do for someone else may be very meaningful for them. You never know how much a good deed for someone else will impact that person. The greatest meaning that today brings may not be for you, it may be for someone else.
40 You can deal with tomorrow next week, or next year when it gets here.
The answer involves doing something kind for someone else.
Did we hold the door for someone whose hands were full
C.Is today still the most important day
The past cannot be changed, and the future has not happened yet.
Ignoring today and hoping it will go away certainly won't work.
If you wash it away, someone else may not get the benefits.
So make the most of today.

Scout could clearly remember the night she had to leave her home in Poland. It was the beginning of World War Ⅱ and her family had to escape as soon as possible. She quickly packed a suitcase with a few
items of clothing, her diary, and her most prized treasure, a silk scarf. Scout and her best friend, Betty, had
persuaded their parents to buy them matching scarves, which they took as a symbol of their friendship. Scout didn't know she was going to America and would not return.
Scout kept that special silk scarf for many years. One day she decided to give it to her granddaughter,
Eliza, to wear to her first job interview for good luck. Scout was afraid that Eliza would lose the scarf, but the granddaughter promised, "Don't worry, Grandma. Nothing's going to happen to your scarf. You'll see
that it's going to bring both of us luck." And with that, Eliza kissed her grandmother and left for the
interview.
Leaving the interview, Eliza felt confident that she had got the job so she decided to celebrate by going to a restaurant. Sitting at her table, Eliza felt an elderly woman staring at her for a long time.
"I'm sorry. Do I know you " Eliza asked.
"I'm sorry, dear, but you remind me of my best friend," the old woman replied. "She looked like you and used to wear a scarf just like yours." Eliza listened carefully, with her eyes and mouth wide open. She had heard stories of her grandmother's best friend and knew the meaning of the scarf.
